They’re then reunited once again, hoping to end up being the couple that scores the most points. In the second half of the show, the husbands are shuffled off stage while their wives answer similar questions. The answers are printed on oversized cards which are often used to beat a mate over the head in the case of a wrong or embarrassing answer. The couples are then reunited and the wives find out if they successfully predicted their husbands’ responses. Questions often refer to “making whoopee,” a way of asking about their sex life without offending the 1960s censors. Host Bob Eubanks first sends the wives off stage while their husbands are left to answer a selection of questions dealing with their courtship, family, or marriages. Produced by Chuck Barris, this game show pits four newlywed couples against one another, to prove which pair know each other the best. Performers include: Bob Eubanks (host) and Johnny Jacobs (announcer).
